What is the BC SCRAP-IT Program?
"We are a voluntary early retirement vehicle program that provides incentives to help British Columbians replace higher polluting vehicles with cleaner forms of transportation.
The program is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to lower exhaust pollutants across the province.
All scrapped vehicles and their components are permanently and properly recycled."
How does the program work?
Say you have an old vehicle that you want to get off your hands. At the same time, you're interested in purchasing an electric bike.
With this program, you can trade in your car for recycle and receive $850 off the purchase of your eBike (min. $1000 retail value).
Buyers will receive $100 off at the time of purchase at BSP. Submit your proof of purchase to the folks at BC SCRAP-IT, and receive the remaning $750 via mail.
