'12 Cannondale Trail SL 29'er 5

Drop in to the world of mountain biking aboard Cannondale's Trail SL 29'er 5. This big-wheeler uses Cannondale's famous large-diameter, thin-wall aluminum tubes to maximize stiffness and minimize weight so you can climb easily and maneuver quickly. And you'll roll over everything in your path thanks to the 29-inch wheels with Kenda knobbies. An RST suspension fork gives you 80mm of travel to soak up whatever the trail throws at you. Promax disc brakes provide serious stopping power, and the Shimano drivetrain offers smooth gear changes and easy pedaling no matter what terrain you're on.

    Currently training for a ride in Cambodia. This is my bike in 20+ years. I spent a little extra for the better bike and so far I am quite happy with the bike. Swapped out the saddle for a little more comfortable one although the original wasn't that bad. very good control and great feel while riding. Highly recommend the Cannondale product.

    I really like this bike. When I lock it up in the city people check it out a lot. I also like to get really muddy and head into the city to get everyone else's bike nice and dirty lol. I really do wish there were better tires on it though, I'm going to replace them for something with a bit more bite after only 2 seasons.
